Geoff Warren
Geoff is an experienced commercial management practitioner with over 30 years experience in various commercial roles in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management and Project Procurement.
He is an acknowledged expert in the field of competencies and vocational training in the commercial sector. He was Chair of the Purchasing and Supply Lead Body(PSLB) from 1995 to 1998; he was Procurement NVQ Chief Verifier for the Awarding Body OCR from 2000 to 2002; and in 2006 he was contracted by CIPS/CILT/EDEXCEL to produce the Knowledge Specifications for the new Supply Chain Management NVQs at Levels 2,3,4 & 5.
He is a qualified NVQ Assessor (D32/33), Internal Verifier (D34) and External Verifier (D35). He has managed the setting up and running of a number of Procurement/Supply Chain Management NVQ Approved Centres and CILT Approved Centres. He has assessed and verified numerous Procurement/Supply Chain Management NVQ Level 3 & Level 4 awards, CILT Qualifications at Levels 3,4,5 & 6 and Assessor/Verifier Awards (Units A1/A2 & V1).
He has developed an innovative approach to people competence assessment and has developed and implemented commercial competence assessment programmes for various clients over the past 15 years. He undertakes the roles of Internal Verifier and Assessor for the GRWBL CILT Approved Centre and provides specialist IV support for other CILT Centres.
He is a member of the CILT(UK)’s Qualifications Development Assessment Committee and is an External Verifier for
the CILT Awarding Organisation.
Rod Brooke

Rod Brooke
FCILT, ACIPS, MCIPD
Rod is an experienced Professional Trainer, Vocational Training Manager and Consultant with a proven record of designing and delivering training courses. He represented BT on the PSLB from 1989 to 1994. He is Chair of the CILT(UK)’s Qualifications Development Assessment Committee.
He is a qualified NVQ Assessor, Internal Verifier & External Verifier and has assessed and verified candidates in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Learning & Development.
He is Chief External Verifier for the CILT(UK) and UK President of the European Logistics Association. In this capacity he is responsible for some 35 Centres with over 2,000 candidates and many assessors and verifiers.
He is an Internal Verifier for both the GRWBL EDEXCEL Approved Centre and the CILT Approved Centre.
Cedric Spiller

Cedric Spiller
MCIPS, CMILT
Cedric is educated to post graduate level at London University and is a commercial professional with over 30 years experience in Transport, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Contracts and Purchasing & Supply.
His commercial career was with the British Railways Board, where he became Supplies Controller and finally Head of National Marketing. Since 1989, he has undertaken Commercial Training & Consultancy Projects for major clients across the world and he is currently working in Africa, the Middle East, India, the West Indies and Europe.
He was a Chief Examiner for CIPS for 25 years. He is a qualified and practising NVQ Assessor for Procurement/Supply Chain Management NVQs.
He is an Assessor for both the GRWBL EDEXCEL Approved Centre and the CILT Approved Centre.
Ben Bvepfepfe
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). A holder of Master’s Degree in logistics and supply chain management
Ben has extensive operational and management experience in logistics and transport industry including transportation, procurement and contract management for World Bank & European Investment Bank projects in Africa.
He has participated in the design and development of a number of logistics and supply chain learning and training programmes for various organisations in different sectors e.g. humanitarian sector, oil and gas sectors and successfully delivered these programmes in a number of locations in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa
As CILT Regional Officer (Central Southern) UK, Ben used his analytical and research skills to produce a ‘business development plan’ for the region that was implemented in line with the overall growth strategy of the Institute. He was instrumental in spearheading the formation of a new group, providing necessary support to the executive committee.
Ben held various positions within the profession including, Honorary Secretary and Chairman of an Independent Division of the CILT (International), School Board Chairperson and Director for a number of educational institutions. He is currently a member of the International Educations Standards Committee (IESC) for CILT International.
A University Lecturer in Business Strategy, Logistics and Supply Chain Management programmes, Ben currently is:
- Undertaking Logistics and supply training and consulting work in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia
- Director at Central Business Associates
- Consultant/Examiner at Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK)
- CILT (UK) Approved Centre Manager at Central Business Associates
- Assessor in the accreditation of Institutions and University programmes for CILT professional qualifications.
